Mod Launcher

Our Mod Launcher can take care of installing and launching the mod, both for the Steam- and non-Steam versions of the game.

Steam Workshop (Recommended)

Requires Steam version of EaW. We recommend this version of the game over all others, since the Steam version received several updates and fixes, including a revival of the multiplayer, that the original disk, Gold Edition, GOG, etc. versions didn’t.

Notes:

• Patches are provided as self-extracting archives. Point the extraction dialog to the mod’s main directory (e.g. Mods\Stargate\, the one that contains the mod’s Data folder)
• Before installing a patch with the self-extracting archive, check the corresponding .del file (with a regular text editor) and manually delete all files listed there from the mod directory.
• If a .del file only contains the \Data folder, this version is a base-version and contains all previous patches.
